Asus Prime X370-PRO and Fedora
Whenever there is a BIOS update there is a need to change the following parameters. Well, some are optional.
Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Mode → Enable
Advanced → PCI Subsystem Settings → SR-IOV Support → Enable
Advanced → Onboard Devices Configuration
- RGB LED Lighting → Disabled
- USB Power Delivery in Soft… → Enable
- Serial Port Configuration → Off
Advanced → USB Configuration → Legacy USB Support → Disabled
Advanced → AMD CBS → Power Supply Idle Control → Typical Current Idle (prevents Fedora from freezing frequently)
Boot → CMS
- Fast Boot → Disabled
- Launch CMS → Disabled
- Secure Boot → Windows UEFI Mode
Boot Configuration → AMI Native NVMe Driver Support → On
